52/52: Pulp Empire, by Paul S. Hirsch

I love this subject—the covert US government use of propaganda comics during WW2 and the Cold War, especially in the global south—but did not much like this book. At turns too academic and under-sourced inline in the text, it was more slog than revelation. Some interesting history, but not enough.
