52/52: Deserter, by Junji Ito

I’ve gotten worn out by Ito’s recent work, but this collection of his early stories revitalized my interest in his raw, intense, truly bonkers short comics. Seeing a full shelf of his work at the store recently would have stupefied the 2002 me, when I first found Uzumaki.
