52/52: Cover Story, by Alex Wong

A good concept—a book tracing the story behind, and cultural importance of, the most iconic magazine covers in basketball history—but poor execution. Maybe the backstories aren’t interesting enough? Certainly the context or analysis is too surface level, and the interviews with magazine editors, art directors, and photographers are mostly bland.
