52/52: Sensor, by Junji Ito

Twisted obsession is the most powerful motivation for virtually every evil character and evil deed in Junji Ito’s horror work. When it works—Uzumaki, Amigara Fault—it really, really works. Otherwise, though, and after dozens of short stories on similar themes, the repetition gets a little dulling; that’s certainly the case here.
