A solid supernatural thriller set in late 1800s New York, following the titular character and her possibly devilish family. While only a 6-issue miniseries, it’s a decent start to an ongoing series or TV show (Marks writes for TV). The biggest standout is the book’s physical design and its papery, semi-transparent jacket.Â
