These volumes dive into the 14-years-later jump from vol. 5, revealing some of what happened in between. The most interesting decision was spending 1.5 books on Bloody New Year’s Eve, which the first four volumes built to and then skipped to head to 2014. Only in manga—and that’s a good thing.
