Wilson, by Daniel Clowes
Categorized in: 52 Books/52 Weeks
It’s definitely gutsy to make a book whose main character is so caustic, so unpleasant, so unredeemed. But it works. Told in one-page vignettes with substantial moments elided, this is a really interesting book that will likely reward re-reading. Wilson’s misanthropy feels dead-on, true to the life of people we’ve all known.
