The Blot, by Tom Neely

As previously noted, I usually avoid wordless comics. The great notices for this silent comic mixing surreal horror with classic animation-style art overcame my normal skepticism. Glad I did. This conveys such remarkable, dislocating horror (via a metastasizing inkblot taking over a man’s life) that more words would detract from the experience.
