Halloween producer Akkad killed in Jordanian terrorism

According to many sources, including this San Jose Mercury News article, Moustapha Akkad, the producer of the Halloween movies died today as a result of injuries sustained in the three terrorist bombings in Jordan earlier in the week.

I don’t know much about the guy, but I love those first two Halloween movies and thought it bore mentioning.

Akkad is seen here in a family photo, made available through the AP, with his daughter, Rima, who was also killed in the attacks.
